Planning a wedding is one of the most hectic projects that you may work on together as a couple! And the closer it gets to that special day, the more hectic it gets. For this reason we suggest that you get started on your dance(s) at least six months before the wedding. This provides you with time to plan, learn, and practice without the stress of being rushed. And it gives you date nights to connect as a couple during the wedding preparation process. What a bonus!
Absolutely! In fact, wedding dance lessons are an excellent and thoughtful gift for any soon-to-be-married couple! Just give us a call at: 904-679-5697, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Yes. ideally, the bride’s dress should be roughly 1/2′ off the floor all the way around so she doesn’t step on it when dancing backwards. Also, if the bodice is tightly fitted or strapless, she may not be able to raise her arms up to do a twirl. (All About Ballroom can modify any dance accordingly.)
Needless to say…wear something comfortable, but ladies, it’s best not to wear open-toed shoes. As you are learning, there will inevitably
be occasions when he might step on your toes. (You will learn how to dance with him so that your toes are always clear.) Also, don’t wear your actual wedding shoes to the first lesson. A good rule is just to wear comfortable shoes, but not flip flops or sandals, as they make dancing more difficult.
